Sia Faces Her Fear — All ‘1000 Forms’ Of It, To Be Exact (Album Review)

Sia wants to be heard — not seen.

That’s been happening for a while now, whether you were aware or not: As Pop’s Most In-Demand Songwriter©, Sia’s held a historic run behind-the-scenes over the past four years, responsible for penning everything from Christina Aguilera‘s “You Lost Me” to David Guetta‘s club-dominating “Titanium,” to Ne-Yo‘s “Let Me Love You” to Rihanna‘s “Diamonds,” to Celine Dion‘s “Loved Me Back To Life” to Britney‘s “Perfume” to Beyoncé‘s “Pretty Hurts” to Kylie Minogue‘s “Sexercize” to Shakira‘s “Chasing Shadows” to Jennifer Lopez‘s “Expertease.”

At some point, it seemed almost odd not to find a Sia-penned track sitting somewhere on a major label pop star’s album.

But where was Sia herself?

Anyway, the good news is that singer/songwriter extraordinaire Sia reportedly married beau Erik Anders Lang in a low-key ceremony at her Palm Springs home on Saturday. The slightly disappointing news is that she hired lusty lensman Terry Richardson to photograph the wedding. Spare a thought for the bridesmaids.

Beyond that, details are scarce about the nuptials. Given Sia's knack for whipping up hit-you-in-the-heart ballads and Lang's work as a filmmaker, we can only assume that the affair was artsy and beautifully soundtracked. Maybe with a few platinum blonde wigs thrown in for fun? (Radar)
