Al Reynolds on life, bisexual identity and former marriage to Star Jones
Al Reynolds speaks out on love, life, and LGBTQ+ advocacy
In this week’s "Motivation with Marissa," TV host Al Reynolds talks about his marriage to Star Jones, coming out as a gay man, and teaching at Bowie State University. The full episode airs on the FOX Local app on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Al Reynolds is so much more than the ex-husband of former ‘The View’ host Star Jones.
The Virginia native is an accomplished business professional, college professor, TV host and advocate for the LBGTQ-plus community.
However, those other accolades and traits often get lost or mentioned secondarily to his highly-publicized and often criticized four-year union with Jones that ended in divorce in 2008.
Just recently, Reynolds found himself going viral about the marriage and his sexuality on FOX Soul’s "TEA-G-I-F," which he formally co-hosted. The show was recently canceled due to reports of behind-the-scenes incidents involving hosts.

Career
Al Reynolds played in 98 games [4] with the Texans/Chiefs and was a starter in 56 of those games through his career in the AFL. Al is also credited with 1 fumble [5] in his career but when questioned about this his only reaction was "I did? I don't remember that." The NFL apparently doesn't know which game it was in. Only that the fumble occurred during the 1966 season in which the Chiefs went on to play Green Bay in the first AFL-NFL World Championship. Since Allen was an offensive lineman it can only be assumed thi
