COSI worker on 'The Bachelor'

A science educator at COSI Columbus is among 27 women who will vie for the affections of Juan Pablo Galavis on the next season of The Bachelor on ABC.

Chelsie Webster, 24, an Ohio State University graduate from Lexington, Ohio, is the oldest of four children. Her father owns a dental practice in Mansfield, and her mother works there as a hygienist.

Her ABC bio reveals some of the attributes she hopes to find in Galavis, a former soccer player who competed on The Bachelorette. Asked what her ideal mate looks like, Webster replied: “I’m not overly particular. I do prefer them to be taller than me, which isn’t hard (she is 5-foot-3). I like a nice smile and kind eyes. Other than that, it’s the insides that count most.”

Asked to fill in the sentence “I love when my date .?.?.,” she said: “Talks about things he loves. Teaches me something. Is appropriately affectionate but not overly so. Tries to make me laugh. Tries something new.”

Oh, and her favorite snacks include frozen grapes. The 18th season of The Bachelor will premiere on Jan. 5.
