Pierre George Dupuch was born about 1851 in Nassau, Bahamas to Elias and Maria Dupuch.
By 1881, Pierre was living in London, England with Alexander Thuey, a civil engineer, and Arthur Dupuch. [Alexander's sister, Elizabeth Thuey, was the wife of Pierre's brother, Joseph Elias Dupuch.] Pierre was a merchant's clerk and an accountant.
Pierre George Dupuch had a daughter, Alice Maud Dupuch, born in 1885, with Margaret McKay.

Michel Dupuch (1 September 1931 – 19 June 2024) was a French diplomat and government official.[1] He served as Ambassador of France to Ivory Coast [fr] and later an advisor on African affairs under PresidentJacques Chirac from 1995 to 2002.
Biography
Born on 1 September 1931, Dupuch studied at the École nationale de la France d'outre-mer and began his career in Grenoble, organizing the 1968 Summer Olympics. He then became a government official in the Charles de Gaulle administration in the Élysée Palace. After de Gaulle's departure, he led the cabinets of several government ministers such as Prime MinisterPierre Messmer and Minister of DefenceYvon Bourges. He was later a special advisor to Prime Minister Raymond Barre.
Dupuch was appointed Ambassador of France to Ivory Coast in 1979, when at age 47 he was the youngest ambassador in France. He remained in Abidjan and Yamoussoukro until 1993, when PresidentFélix Houphouët-Boigny died in 1993.[2] He advised Chirac on African affairs from 199

Elias Dupuch was born 27 December 1794 in Bordeaux, France.
Elias Dupuch was a French iron worker who came to Nassau, Bahamas about 1840 after several years residing in Martinique.
Elias, and his wife Maria, had three sons all born in Nassau: Joseph Elias Dupuch, Elias Gilbert Francis Dupuch, and Pierre George Dupuch.
In 1855, he was granted British citizenship.
Elias Dupuch, blacksmith, merchant, and hotelier, died in Nassau, Bahamas 26 August 1870 at 79 years of age. He was buried in the Eastern Cemetery, Nassau.
