Stephen Brennan (born 1955 in Dublin) appeared on Coronation Street in December 1985 as Catholic priest, Father O'Brien, who advised Ivy Tilsley that she couldn't marry divorcee, George Wardle.
His other television credits include roles in Dick Francis: Twice Shy, El C.I.D., Ballykissangel, Father Ted, DDU, Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog, Bachelors Walk, The Big Bow Wow, The Clinic, The Tudors and The Woman in the Wall.
Film roles include Eat the Peach, The Miracle, The General, Shergar, The Boys and Girl from County Clare and The Last Duel.
On stage, he has appeared in productions of Port Authority, A Life, The Spanish Tragedy, Strider - The Story of a Horse, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Jane Eyre and The Shaughraun.
While for radio, he was heard in productions of The Monday Play and The Afternoon Play as well as The Proposal and Purple Dust.

Stephen Brennan is group vice president and executive engineering officer over all of production engineering for Toyota Motor North America (TMNA). This includes Central Manufacturing, Vehicle Manufacturing, Building and Parts Manufacturing, and Battery Manufacturing Engineering. In his role, Brennan oversees hundreds of team members responsible for leading new product launches in Toyota’s North American manufacturing facilities. Brennan also oversees EV Supply planning, focusing on the acceleration and transformation of Toyota North American battery and electric vehicle supply chain.
In his previous role as vice president of production engineering, Brennan was responsible for designing processes and procuring new equipment, including managing all related capital expenditures to facilitate the start of production of new vehicle models across Toyota facilities in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

The name Brennan actually comes from “Burn Hand”. Back in medieval days, that was the title of the unpleasant fellow who doled out the colourful punishments of the time. The fact that I know that should tell you something about me. I’ve got a flare for the dramatic, and I love a good story. I was born in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland on September 3rd, 1981. Mount Pearl is actually a valley, but don’t ask me to tell that story because I’ve forgotten most of it. All in all, Newfoundland harbors one of the most unusual cultures you’ll find anywhere, and also some of the friendliest people. I love my home, and I get back whenever I can, but opportunity and the promise of new experiences brought me out west. After more than a decade in Calgary, Alberta, I met my wonderful girlfriend Hilda. Together we moved to Vancouver, and now here we sit, staring at the rain on this lovely night.
