A youthful film veteran, who appeared as a tot in For the Love of Ada (d. Ronnie Baxter, 1972) and as Mia Farrow's daughter in The Great Gatsby (US, d. Jack Clayton, 1974), and serial bride of rock stars (Dan Donovan,1988-91; Jim Kerr, 1992-1996; Liam Gallagher, 1997-2000), this fragile-looking blonde, born to East End poverty, has still to establish herself securely in films.
She was in the disastrous musical, Absolute Beginners (d. Julien Temple, 1986), in Michael Winner's unfairly savaged A Chorus of Disapproval (1989), in the witty but not widely seen Blame It on the Bellboy (d. Mark Herman, 1992), and used her beauty and eroticism to good purpose in Angels and Insects (UK/US, d. Philip Haas, 1995). She co-starred more or less unnoticeably with Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon 2 (US, d. Richard Donner, 1989) and plays the wife of the football hero in Best (UK/Ireland, d. Mary McGuckian, 2000). Perhaps if she is serious about not marrying any more rockers, she will devote herself more single-mindedly to her career.
