Morten Ramsland (Odense, 1971) es un escritor danés, licenciado en Historia del Arte y Literatura Danesa en la Universidad de Århus. Escribió su primer libro en 1993, una colección de poemas, aunque fue con Cabeza de perro (Hundehoved en su versión original), publicado en el 2005, con el que consiguió éxito entre la crítica. Dicha obra consiguió vender 150.000 ejemplares en Dinamarca, y fue galardonada con los premios más importantes de la literatura danesa, entre ellos Autor del Año, Libro del Año y el Golden Laure.

Morten Ramsland, born in 1971, has a degree in Danish and Art History. He made his Danish debut as an author in 1993 with the collection of poems entitled Når fuglende driver bort (When Birds Drift Away). In 1998 his first novel, Akaciedrømme (Acacia Dreams) was published.

The family chronicle Hundehoved (Doghead) was published in 2005 and went on to win four prestigious prizes in Denmark: The 2006 Danish Booksellers' Golden Laurels; Author of the Year; Book of the Year and the Reader's Prize. It also won the Premio Berto and Premio Edoardo Kihlgren 2nd Prize in Italy.
