Sweet Sweet Bodyguard (traditional Chinese: 剩女保鏢; simplified Chinese: 剩女保镖; pinyin: Shèng Nǚ Bǎo Biāo; lit. 'Leftover Girl as Bodyguard') is a 2012 Taiwanese television series starring Alien Huang and Summer Meng, and directed by Golden Bell Award-winning director Fung Kai.

The drama began filming on 6 June 2012 and debuted on 31 July 2012, airing daily at 8pm on cable TV SET Metro and ending on 26 November 2012 at a total of 82 episodes.

Synopsis

Raised up in a military family and trained to become a bodyguard, Zhen Ai-Ji (played by Summer Meng) is all about responsibility, loyalty and honor. But at heart, she is an ordinary young girl who is eager to fall in love. In order to prevent herself from becoming a "leftover girl" at too early of an age, she decided that her next mission will also be her last one. However, what she did not expect was that her new client, He Zhong-Qi (played by Alien Huang) the CEO of a famous motor company, would be such a difficult person to get along with...

1. Jolin Tsai, “Mi Huan (Fantasy)”

Steamy europop with a robotic intro from Jolin Tsai. The video is a tumblr girl fantasia of floor-length pastel mermaid hair, Glinda gowns, Britney-type bubblegum, and the lavish glittery aesthetics of Pierre et Gilles. Jolin Tsai is the biggest female pop star in Taiwan, and the second biggest overall (after Jay Chou). Yen-j (a.k.a. Yan Jue) is a jazz-pop singer-songwriter whose hero is Stevie Wonder. Here he and his girlfriend get trapped in a series of twee and occasionally grotesque setups. I could not resist the little cartoon doodles or the amoeba stuffed animal that acts as a relationship proxy.

I’m probably one of the few people out there totally and completely worn out from the King Flowerjourney. It’s both a feeling of intense satisfaction and utter depletion. Starring George Hu and Annie Chen, this one is an exercise purely to reunite them in a drama with a story that comes across as tailor written for them without any greater purpose. Annie and George did the daily drama Love, Now late last year which garnered great ratings in its time slot and their combustible onscreen chemistry made them a popular pairing that only fanned more fires when rumors started leaking that they were dating in real life as well. Throw in some scorned former lady love scandal involving Gui Gui (who costarred with George in Summer Fever), this had all the makings of a juicy tabloid love triangle.
