Héctor Travieso (December 1, 1943 – January 6, 2025) was a Cuban actor, comedian and television host.

Travieso immigrated to Puerto Rico[1] and had an extensive career in telenovelas. He hosted SuperXclusivo, and La Comay serving as sidekick to the show's protagonist and puppet, La Comay. Travieso also participated briefly in "Dando Candela" by Telemundo.[2][3] The comedian was part of different programs and movies for United States of America and Puerto Rico,[4] like “El Show de Raymond” in WAPA TV. Cause of death of Héctor Travieso revealed

The family of the renowned Cuban actor, Héctor Travieso, revealed on Tuesday through a written statement that the cause of his death was a heart attack. He was 73 years old.

"Yesterday, January 6th, Papi, who for you was and will be Héctor Travieso, passed away due to a heart attack," reads a press release signed by his children: Manolo, Laura, and Héctor.

They also took the opportunity to thank "Lola" (Isabelita), Travieso's wife, for staying by his side at all times; and the public for the "solidarity" and "support" they have received during the process.

"We kindly ask for space to be able to work through this as a family with privacy. Later on, we will be able to have a conversation and provide more specific statements," they pointed out.
