The United States is in a sharp decline….morally, economically and with our local and national security. Working men and women have been forgotten. They cannot make ends meet. Most Americans are reliant on credit cards to afford the lives they once lived comfortably in. America itself is under attack from within. Suburban neighborhoods are becoming unsafe. Taxes are on the rise. Inflation continues to skyrocket. Our Southern border is wide open to criminals and toxic drugs. And our national debt is racking up - tens of trillions - for the first time ever, with no relief in sight.
All of this happened to us in the last 3 years….voting has consequences – it can destroy our calm, peaceful, and affordable lives.
As Americans striving for change, we only have one choice – to put our differences aside, rise above all of the rhetoric, and be part of the solution to build a Better America. My name is Susan Hathaway-Altman, and I am running for Congress. And I am here to assure you that better days are coming. Like Ronald Reagan once said, “It’s morning again in America again” and

Anti-Corruption
Sue has dedicated her career to rooting out political corruption in New Jersey in order to protect New Jersey’s taxpayers and our democracy – and she’s ready to take that work to Washington. Sue has pledged to never accept any donations from corporate PACs.
Women’s Rights and Abortion
With conservative extremists decimating reproductive rights, Sue will work to protect access to contraception, reproductive choice, and women’s health. As an advocate, Sue worked with grassroots groups to protect this right here in NJ.

Sue has a long record of working hard for everyday people and will fight in Congress to spur competition in our economy, restore the SALT deduction so New Jerseyans are not double-taxed, fight for a livable wage for all workers, and ensure that homes are bought by humans, not corporations. Our district and our state must be a place where families can thrive, youn

The Atlantic: Sue Altman “Born To Run”
The Boss said it best, some people are “Born to Run.”
In New Jersey politics — according to a new profile piece from The Atlantic — those people are former professional athletes like New York Knicks legend Senator Bill Bradley and, in New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District, Democratic candidate Sue Altman.
Altman started the transition from the hardwood to the hustings when she was a teacher and coach who was willing to stand up to then-governor Chris Christie to fight for New Jersey’s public schools.
In the race to replace career politician Tom Kean Jr., it is Altman’s “intensity that vibrates through a Zoom screen” and her willingness to challenge “the state’s old-boys’ club, regardless of its party” that has enabled her to grow a winning coalition of Democrats, Republicans, and Independent voters.

Politics has come to look like sports in many ways: the big money, the intense rivalries, the infotainment coverage. And some of the boldface names are exactly the same, thanks t
